Introduction

Different ethnic groups may be susceptible to different HBV strains. Chinese people are mainly infected with HBV genotypes B and C, while European and American people are susceptible to Hepatitis B virus genotypes A. We collected 11,384 HBV sequences from HBVdb, and compared key areas according to the composition characteristics of HBV virus particles, and analyzed their conservation, physicochemical properties, and so on. Finally, based on the obtained key mutations, we simulated the binding of antigenic peptides to HLA molecules, and determined the key mutation sites of susceptible HBV genotypes in immune escape from liver cancer [1]. Here, we integrate the prediction process of HBV key mutations into the HLA3D Toolkit to provide reference for researchers.
